Mindful Fridays

Mindfulness meditation is remarkably simple. It is something we can do anywhere, anytime- washing dishes, grocery shopping, walking the dog. We can do it sitting, standing, in movement, in stillness. Our entry point to meditation can be as simple as listening to the breath, feeling snow beneath our boots, the touch of wind on our face, sensing the heart beat. It is precisely how simple this is, that these opportunities to grow our inner quiet, and for deeper self-awareness are so easily missed. But with a little practice and some support, meditation can help us feel better, and find a greater ease in life.

A private meditation session includes:

- Time to check in about how life is going for you.

- Techniques to help us become physically and mentally more settled: slowing down with gentle, easy movements, applying breathing techniques, body scans, or guided visualizations - all tailored to you.

- A period of quiet, mindful meditation for you to gently observe your inner experience.

- Guidance with wrapping up to help us transition back into our day.

Friday sessions are by phone,  one-to-one, 25 minutes in length, pre-booked and non-refundable. HST is included.

Restorative Yoga + meditation online Classes

Sundays Jan. 10, 17, 24 

4pm EST


Ease into your inner quiet Sunday afternoons with light, breath-centred  movement, followed by supported, restorative postures, and meditation for deep rest.  Gather up your pillows, blankets or preferred yoga props, and join us to set a peaceful pace for the week to come.  No experience necessary, all are welcome!

General Info for Online Classes

Registration in advance required.

  • Props needed: 2 pillows and 2 blankets, a meditation cushion or chair (or your preferred yoga props such as bolster, blocks, and eye pillow)
  • Class will take place on the floor on a yoga mat, rug, or layered blankets
  • Our bodies cool down as we relax, please wear warm layers
  • Take some time to prepare your space: choose a warm and quiet room, turn cell phones off, gather the props you will need, dim the lights, play some mellow background music if you prefer
  • Please join class 5 minutes prior to start time to get settled

Restorative Yoga + Meditation In-studio Classes

Location: The Creemore Sanctuary 

Mondays 7pm-8:15pm (temporarily on hold)


This class begins with light, gentle movement, followed by supported restorative postures at rest.  Breath work and meditations are carefully woven throughout to help you settle with ease.
